Work to be done

  • Check if the chords in Joyful Music give the same info as the chords in Source: Sarlo's Songs in the Key of Osho. See: Notes on chord notation..
  • And what is the meaning of the "P" in the title of e.g. 1B; the "C" in the title of e.g. 9 ? Sarlo maybe will ask Shivananda.

About "Capo X," capo is a tool that extends across the guitar neck to raise the pitch of all the strings to any desired level. It does this by making the vibrating portion of the strings shorter and thereby enables the guitar player to play simpler chords for any key. Specifying "Capo X" for any song means to put the capo at fret X and the pitch is thus raised X semitones. Sarlo (talk) 09:02, 2 June 2013 (PDT)

About "P" and "C," C could be indicating that the song is in the key of C, or C major. That song IS in fact in that key, but it is unnecessary to indicate this, and since it is done for so few songs, that may not be what it means. The meaning of "P" is a complete mystery to me. Rules for song titles

  • If the title is different in punctuation, like a comma, or like (You Are/You're), or just a few words extra or less of the first line, then change the title to the existing OMA-title without ado.
  • If it has clearly other words, then it keeps it's own title, but is linked to our existing title: [[Our title|Shivananda's title]].
    • And then on the song page, Shivananda's title is mentioned as "Also known as".
    • And the page gets a redirect, so it's found under both titles on the Track pages.

Rules for adding text-clips

Add text-clip from Joyful Music when:

  • Chord notation in the lyrics is not yet present
  • So if only lyrics or lyrics with Melody notation are present, add the clip with chords of Joyful Music.

By the way, in case text-clips from one of the Song Books are present:

  • If also simple lyrics are present, leave them on, as they provide search ability for text
