The e-book can be fairly said to be not much bibliographic help since it has only the first six chapters and no explicit date or place indications but there are some hints: First, the salutation used by Osho, "Mere priya atman" at the beginning of the discourses and the "Mere pranam svikar karen" at the end, make it 1970 or earlier; and in discourse #4, he refers to a question asked on Aug 15, though we still have to guess which year. -- doofus-9 (talk) 19:04, 21 May 2015 (UTC)

Another clue is found in looking at the bumpf for the series in Osho World's and osho.com's audio book offerings. OW declares it to be a Q&A series given in Baroda. The bumpf from o.com is unfortunately less helpful, being identical to that from the preceding series alphabetically, Swayam Ki Satta (स्वयं की सत्ता). The text leaves no doubt it applies to that series rather than this one. -- doofus-9 21:11, 30 March 2017 (UTC)

And now we have some Dates and Places info from Jagdish. In fact, we have two pieces of such info, and, well, at least they agree on the dates. As for the venue, well, they do not agree. Cases could be made for either or both but in the end, neither case would be compelling, so it could come down to gut feeling preferences. So the dates are set out below in text form, followed by the cases that can be made and the editor's conclusion, which is not ironclad:

1. Aug 14 1969 am
2. Aug 14 1969 pm
3. Aug 15 1969 am
4. Aug 15 1969 pm Q&A
5. Aug 16 1969 am
6. Aug 16 1969 pm Q&A
7. Aug 17 1969 am
8. Aug 17 1969 pm Q&A

The case for Baroda (now known as Vadodara GJ) is simple and straightforward: "Baroda" is what it says in both the images, but in one of them, "Baroda" has got crossed out and replaced with an ostensibly precise location in Ahmedabad. And OW's bumpf for the series also mentions Baroda. It seems to have a lot going for it. What about Ahmedabad?

The ostensible precision of the venue there is a bit illusory, in that "Maneklal Jethalal Town Hall" does not exist, at least as precisely that. What one finds when scratching around in Ahmedabad in the "Ellisbridge" area is "Maneklal Jethalal Library, near Town Hall", which is near the Swami Vivekanand Bridge (formerly the Ellis Bridge, after which that area of town is named). But as there are several Maneklal Jethalal Libraries in Ahmedabad, to refer to the one near Town Hall as MJ Town Hall may not be so off, just a verbal shorthand.

Anyway, the thing is, in the second D&P, someone has noted that in all those "Baroda"s, the venue is missing. It is as though the writer-in of "Ahmedabad, Maneklal Jethalal Town Hall, Ellisbridge" in the first D&P has attempted to find the truth of that venue, and whaddya know!? It's not in Baroda at all, and here it is, in Ahmedabad! FWIW, this place has been used for a venue in at least one other series, so it has some resonance.

So all in all, i'm personally inclined to take it at face value, as the report of a diligent, honest search and accordingly prefer Ahmedabad. But for now i will enter just the dates in the Timeline and leave the venue a . Perhaps other feedback can resolve it.

One might also wonder about osho.com's bumpf on the series. As of today, it is still the bumpf for Swayam Ki Satta (स्वयं की सत्ता). Baroda can neither be confirmed nor refuted. We await developments. -- doofus-9 08:17, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
