Maybe a better place than the front page . . .

Obviously lots of details could be tightened up, but later. I like the general form and format and suggest about the two columns: It will be hard to come up with two snappy header names that cover it all, ie categorize it neatly and fully, so it can still be a bit vague, while having an introductory paragraph that spells it out. For something like that, the headers could be: 'Events 1 ("outside", newsy)' and 'Events 2 ("inner", non-newsy)'. But anything will do if spelled out in an introductory para.

I think the column widths could be wider for the first than the second, given the relative bulk of material, but i don't see how it has happened with the existing set-up that they are nearly equal. The biggest pics do not fill the 2nd col's space up, its longest paragraph is much shorter than that of the 1st col, so a bit of a mystery.

And maybe it's time to have the wikimedia thing enabled that allows automated referencing. The first column material cries out for footnotes for references for the sources of all those stories. I think some kind of sourcing is essential for these stories. They have arrived full-blown and we don't know from where. And footnotes will be by far the least intrusive and bloated way to do sourcing, but to have a non-automated system is tedious to the max when a new footnote is introduced in the middle somewhere, and for sure there will be additions. -- doofus-9 18:38, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
