Source for these three talks in Chennai is ch 10 of Laherubhai's memoir Blessed Moments with Osho. He reports that "Osho's discourses were held at three different places in Chennai. Osho would talk in Hindi and someone would translate it into Tamil simultaneously. A large number of people attended. These discourses could not be recorded".

A hilarious episode from this Chennai chapter is also cited by Neeten in his Osho Source Book: "Osho was very interested in books so we went with him to a big bookstore on Mount Road of Chennai. Osho bought some books and asked me to take the money from his bag to pay for them. But I did not do that and I told Nanubhai [Nanubhai Bhatt, Osho's host in Chennai] that if anybody invited Osho and if he bought any books etc. from his city then the host is expected to pay for them. Thus I made Nanubhai pay for the books".

And for all that Osho is said to have been allergic to many scents, Laheru reports that he found a source of "German 4711 Ice Eau de Cologne" there that he knew Osho liked very much and he got eight bottles for him then and there and continued to get more on other trips to Chennai over the years.

One other unusual acquisition Laheru arranged for Osho in Chennai was 25 Ashoka tree saplings. Osho had seen these trees and asked Laheru to send some to Jabalpur. -- doofus-9 06:09, 23 August 2019 (UTC)

Osho's Appointment Diary 1967-1970 (translated source document) confirmes the dates 20-22 Jul and gives a plan of schedule.

Laherubhai did not state date for a talk in Theosophical Society and it can be just visit, not talk. "One day Osho went to visit the Theosophical Society of Chennai. He spent some time there and also took interest in the books of J. Krishnamurthy."--DhyanAntar 03:49, 27 September 2022 (UTC)
