This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

To whom it nay concern

I am Adela Gil de Sagredo and my profession is fashion designer. I am graduated by the School of Fine Arts of Madrid and hold a Diplom in Design by the College of Design and Art of Paris.

At the present moment I work for several firms like "High Fashion Punto Blanco" and "Designs Ibiza y Baleares".

Trough my work that is concerned to colour, beauty, shape and harmony I've had the opportunity to consult great men relating to the world of Sthetics and for me the one who has influenced me more deeply has been Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.

His work is a song to the beauty and harmony of oneself's with the whole of existence.

Through his influence 1 am carrying out my work in a more throrough way as far as the shape and the colours is concerned. 1 feel very grateful to all his inspiration coming from him and 1 want to recognise the exceptional ability of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh in the world of Art.
