 ACTUALIZATIONS To Whom It May Concern: This letter is to state our opinion of the contribution made by Bhagwan Rajneesh through the teachings in his books. The qualifications upon which our opinion is based are as follows: We co-founded Actualizations in 1975, an educational organization conducting workshops in communication and leadership skills, motivation and human transformation. We have widely lecutured on and taught seminars in these topics, both before and since our founding of Actualizations. To date, we have collectively worked with over 50,000 people; in private, business and government sectors. Additionally, Mr. Emery has authored two best selling books - Actualizations, You Don't Have to Rehearse To Be Yourself and The Owner's Manual For Your Life, both published by Doubleday. Ms. Augustus is listed in The World Who's Who of Women and The Who's Who of Intellectuals. We were introduced to Rajneesh's books about seven years ago. We have read a number of his books written to date. We also saw a video taping of him speaking to some of his followers at the New Age Expo in San Francisco about six years ago. Rajneesh writes about the nature of man in relationship to himself and to the world in a way that brings understanding and acceptance. His writings teach that one needs to take responsibility for ones self and actions, therefore giving his readers a better ability to resolve conflict not only within the self but within the world. The teachings in the books by Rajneesh show one that the way to truly begin to handle conflicts, turmoils and wars in the world, is to learn how to handle the conflict, turmoil and war that exists in the individual.
