This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society.  Prof. To whom it may concern: I graduated in Architecture in 1969 at the "Politecnico" University in Milano. For a period of 10 years I was teaching Applied Arts in an Italian High School and worked as a professionist of Interior Design in a Studio in Milan and New York City as well. After a serious illness, I approached the world of Yoga and Meditation. In that period I got acquainted with the Meditation techniques of the enlightened Master Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. These meditations have been of great help to express my creativity particularly in my work and in relation with the outside world. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh is a great philosopher and His eclecticism allowes everybody to feel in contact with Him. To be near a great spiritual Master nowadays is something really extraordinary. The city His disciples are building in Oregon is a perfect model of a new Town-planning, one of the most advanced in the world.
