Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I, the undersigned, am Charlotte Eitel, a socialworker of German nationality. I was born March 25, 1957 in Ramsberg, Germany. I am living at Mergenthalerstrasse 34, 8000 Munich 60.

I received a graduation in socialwork at the Catholic Academy in Munich. During my study I got a scholarship for exceptional academic attainment from the German government. I also used to have seminars in theology, which I was very interested in, as I always felt that my humanitarian attitude is most important for my work as social worker. During my study I got specialized in working with behaviour disturbed children and their parents. After my study I worked in the Psychiatric Hospital of the University of Heidelberg in the Department for children. Afterwards I worked in a Kindergarten of the Protestant Church taking care for the "difficult" children in the group.

I first came into contact with the teachings of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh during my study by reading His books. After a while I used to do His meditations which gave me an immense help to get clarity with myself. In 1980 I decided to travel to Poona/India and asked to be initiated by Him. I also visited Rajneeshpuram which I experienced as a very advanced commune who's goal is to make it possible that man can live in harmony with himself and nature.

I see the teachings of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh as a great value for myself and for the whole mankind today.
