Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

R . Raimundo Correa, 60
Rio de Janeiro BRAZIL
July 11, 1983

I am a senior economist working with Brazilian Government Bank for Economics and Social Development and I’ve been Chief of Infrastructure Department for the last 5 years. It is my task to evaluate and promote projects dealing with "urban development" transportation, warehousing, and other bank needs, to meet higher students of quality of life. I am also an engineer in civil works and I am a fellowship of Economic Development Association of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (World Bank).

I want to state that I've met at Rajneeshpuram such inspirated ways of finding the best and the cheapest urban development (most economical for each dollar of capital costs) that I must say it is, no doubt, due to the presence of a genius - Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh -whose inspiration and religious teaching provides the main guidelines for the fabulous work already done. And more. I can foresee in a few years a very, very high quality of life due to the work already undergoing. I have never seen such work in a desert site like Rajneeshpuram.

I've met Bhagwan first some 3 years ago and I've read many books and used to listen to many tapes of his speeches and music. I am very grateful to Him for I am disclosing my inner hidden religiousness in a very happy way by opening my heart to love as I couldn't imagine. Together with such love flows creativity wherever I am.

I recognize that the exceptional creativity at Rajneeshpuram is absolutely remarkable in my field of work and interest such as I have described above.

Sincerely,
[signed]
Eurycles A.F.L. Pereira
