This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Fiorella Pachner. It is "Exhibit A-688" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

I am 57 years old and an artist. I studied art with Casorati, the founder of Pop Art, Music with Pachner, Therapies with Ruffini & Gasca, founder of the Psychoanalysis & Psychodrama in Italy. My paintings have been in 12 Expositions (at the Museum of Neuhurtel - Switzerland, and Enskede, Holland, among others). Also at the Christian Stein Gallery, Grand Prix of Monte Carlo and at the "Galleria Parisina". I worked for three years as art coordinator in the psychiatric hospitals of Turin, Italy, together with Basaglione, under the supervision of Agostino Rirella. I did psychodrama seminars with Lemoine studying the relationship between art and therapies.

But the real encounter with Art and Therapy happened only in Poona, at the Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh ashram. All the schools that I studied in the social, scientific and artistic fields became complete and their vision was broadened by the knowledge of human kind that Bhagwan gave me through his teachings and his meditation techniques.

My creative abilities have reached a scope that never existed before. To be now part of the birth and growth of Rajneeshpuram is to me the most complete realization of my artistic and creative abilities.

Only a man with exceptional abilities could have enriched my life and my artistic understanding in such a way and for this I am extremely grateful.
