Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

Dear Sirs,

May I introduce myself:

I was born at January 3rd, 1932 in Bad Freienwalde/Oder (near Berlin , Germany) development: final examination of secondary school in 1950, in the following two years I got through practical courses in all kinds of housework, nursing in hospitals, hotel-kitchen work etc.; after that from 1952 - 1953 I studied Marxism at the Humboldt-University in Berlin ( east) until the 17th of June, 1953, the day of revolt in eastern Germany. Very shortly after that 1 left the eastern part of Germany because it became too dangerous for me to stay any longer. At the Free University of Berlin I started at that time my studies of pedagogy, psychology, political economy and management until 1958. This training ended with a diploma-examination, an academic degree as a Diplom-Handelslehrer. Subsequently I was promoted to a senior assistant maester of the Federal State of Hesse (FRG).

I knew Bhagwan through personal contacts in a meditation-center of my home-town, Kassel, in Western -Germany, where I lived since 1961, in my residence since 1974. Especially through his books I were deeply impressed because I relized that I have had nearly the same ideas and feelings since the time of my youth. That was like coming home for me.

So Bhagwan's exceptional ability in religious teachings and spititual leadership give to me and many of my friends all over the world, e.g. in the Netherlands, England and Spain, whom I became aquainted with during ray travels, a feeling of humanity and religous promotion, that spread into my work, and my relationship, especially to my husband and to my mother.

I am thoroughly convinced that by Bhagwan's teachings and exceptional abilities as a religious teacher and spiritual leader both a third world war and a worldwide suicide and collapse of mankind could be prevented and the brutality that still remains in mankind can be transformend.

Yours very truly
