Dr. med. Josef Bachleitner

Dear Sir,

I am a physician, passed my examinations in 1979 in Freiburg / West-Germany and worked since then first in the University clinic Freiburg, department for pediatric psychiatrie, then since 2 years as a surgery assistent,

During all my college days, I have been looking for something which could help me to integrate all the various special knowledges and to practise my profession as a man who has come to terms with himself and is able to approach his patients out of a wholistic viewpoint and in a loving way.

This longing was fullfilled, more than expected, when I encountered Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, first through books and tapes, then personally, when I went to India in 1980. I experienced Bhagwan as an unbelievably well informed, life-experienced, human nature penetrating man, who’s radiance showed, that all these qualities are rooted in his being and based on his immense love.

What I gained out of this, was a totally new understanding of human nature, especially the psychosomatic aspect, which influences the ways of treating illnesses.

Bhagwan helped me to experience the body as an energy phenomenon, which is dependent on the consciousness.

That means that illnesses and their treatment are to be based on our responsibility of guiding our lives. Also my personal growth was tremendously enriched by communicating with Bhagwan. He influences my work in a very positive way. I have become more sensitive and loving to my patients and more efficient in the practical aspects of my profession.

yours sincerely
