This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Kornelia Krämer. It is "Exhibit A-1273" in the Noles collection.

To whom it may concern:

During my study of Padagogics, Sociology and Art at the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen and my work with children and young people I've got many inspirations from the philosophy of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.

His kind of view from the relationship between parent and children and also adults and children helps me to understand the difficulties which I've had in my position as a social-worker.

Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh teaches to have a great trust into the individual development of each child to unfold itself to an individuum with selfconsciousness and with its individual qualities. Therefore a great acceptance and tolerance from the adults for the children is needed, and also awareness of the own faults during the educational process.

I know the philosophy of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh from his books and his tapes. Also some visits in his centers show me that his people are trying a new way of life, which contents a new relation between parents and children. I could see the children taking part at the work, learning at school and playing with their friends. They are free, happy and balanced.

My opinion is that the philosophy and the teachings of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh can bring a lot of inspiration for everybody of us.

Yours faithfully
