This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

This letter is from Ms. L. Kroutchinina. It is "Exhibit A-1024" in the Noles collection.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. To Whom it may concern:

I would like to share with you my experience with Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. In my opinion he is truly a great being, a very exceptional and precious one. And the U.S.A. is very fortunate to have such a being on its soil presently..

I heared about Bhagwan from his disciple Swami Leellananda, a well known Philippino poet and university professor, Rolando A. Carbonell, from Manila. He came to Montreal in 1978 to give a talk about his Master Bhagwan, and to teach some of Bhagwan’s meditation technics.lt was on his advice that I went to Poona, India to stay with Bhagwan for 3 months in 1978 and for 5 weeks in 1980.

I can only say, that it changed my whole life. I feel and lock much younger then my 60 yrs. My memory, my working capacity have improved immencly. I am able to do much more and much better work, then before.

Little about myself. I am Cytotechnologiste, trained by Dr, George Papanicolau in Cornell Medical Center in New-York. I did some postgraduate work in Hotel Dieu Hospital, then 10 years in Maisonneuve Hospital in Montreal before my present job as Chief Cytotechnologiste in Jewish General Hospital Dept. of Pathology. My work consists of microscopic interpretation of human cells, for detection of cancer.lt is a demanding and tedious work, wich can be very stressful at times. I definitly see much improvement in my health and my working capacity and it is definitly the result of my continuous participation in Bhagwan's meditation technics and his therapeutic groups.

Sincerely yours
