Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

To whom it may concern

Myself (Dr. med. Leske) amd Mrs. Birgitt Lösch are working together in my medical practice as partners. Both of us want ot testify in the following letter the exceptional ability of our religious teacher and spiritual leader Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh in his occupation and how we are influenced by him in doing our work, that may be summarised as ’working with people’.

Myself (Birgitt Lösch, Diplom-Psychologe), I am a clinical psychologist. I studied in Germany and in USA and got my qualification in client-centered and behavior therapy. I am 33 years old and worked as psychologist for 4 years: as psychology teacher, as psychotherapist and as supervisor and therapist in a home for mentaly handicapped children. Since 2 1/2 years I am a disciple of Bhagwan.

Myself (Dr .med. Leske), I am qualified as a general physician as well as a neurologist and psychiatrist. My age is 45 years and I am working in my profession since 16 years. Before I settled down in my own practice, I served in the german army as a medical officer for 12 years. Since about 14 years my work consists mainly in taking care of severely mentally ill people or helping others with more light emotional disorders in getting clear with themself. I learned about Bhagwan 4 years ago and I am a disciple of him since 1 1/2 years.

In the last years, since we have got to know Bhagwan, the manner of communicating with our patients is more easy, more lovingly and more satisfying than before. We are not at all trying to convert our clients, but we accept where they are and help them to find their own way.

We first got to know Bhagwan by listening to his lectures and by getting in contact with groupleaders (mainly psychotherapists), which had a chance to live in his presence. We were impressed by the way how alive and blossoming they were and how at one hand skilled and at the other hand lovingly they worked with people in their psychotherapy-groups.

We know, that Bhagwan is influencing deeply a great many of so called ’social helpers’ all over the world, as he influences us and inspires us permanently. Everytime when we read his books or listen to his tapes we take advantage of the enormous amount of knowledge and wisdom, which is compiled in his lectures.

We are convinced, that Bhagwan is not only an exeptional man and spiritual teacher, but that he has an outstanding knowledge and abilities in the field of psychology and psychotherapy. All schools of thoughts of the so called modern humanistic psychology are summarised and crystallized in his lectures and blossom to new exceptional effectiv therapeutic technics used by his disciple therapists.
