This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch. The image is reproduced here with the kind permission of The Oregon Historical Society. Facharzt für Innere Krankheiten und Ich bin Arzt seit 1946, war ununterbrochen 15 Jahre an Krankenhäusern tätig und führe seit 1961 eine eigene große Praxis. Seit 6 Jahren kenne ich die religiösen Lehren des Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh durch Berichte meiner Tochter Susanne Niemeyer (Ärztin) , durch das Studium der Bücher des Gurus Bhagwan und durch häufige Besuche von Veranstaltungen seiner Glaubensanhänger. Ich bin mit den Schriften, Büchern und Glaubenslehren des Gurus Bhagwan so vertraut, daß ich aussagen kann, daß Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh ein bedeutender religiöser Lehrer ist. Soweit seine religiösen Lehren mein medizinisches Fachgebiet betreffen (Psychosomatik, Psychotherapie, Meditation, Heilgymnastik etc.), bedeuten sie eine wesentliche Bereicherung der Medizin.
