"First link : Self-love
The first link in the chain is self-love. Let us love ourselves. Let this love be unhindered and unconditional. He who cannot love himself is incapable of loving others. In the absence of love it is impossible to go beyond the mundane, the physical, and the temporal. The power of love is the only power in man that is spiritual and unearthly. The steps leading up to the benign presence of the Supreme Soul can be climbed only by holding on to the unearthly link of love." (Osho, Ch. 1.)
translated from
Hindi
Prem Ke Pankh (प्रेम के पंख) = "Wings of Love"
Amrit Kan (अमृत कण) = "Nectar Particles," the "Random Thoughts" portion.
Translated by T.V. Parameswar Iyer, M.A.

The first part of the book is a discourse called "Wings of Love", the second part is a collection of 224 short texts called "Random Thoughts".
The CD-ROM has the text and headers of the 1979 book-edition, but makes the distinction of 5 chapters: "Wings of Love" as ch.1-2, and "Random Thoughts" as ch.3-5. There seems to be no logical connection with the text in this arrangement.
Later published as part of The Long and the Short and the All (1979), see the discussion there.
