- Aum, let the sun be beneficent to us.
- Let Varuna be beneficent to us.
- Let Arya be beneficent to us.
- Let Indra and Brahaspati be beneficent to us.
- Let Vishnu be beneficent to us.
- Salutation to that supreme, the Brahman.
- O air, salutations unto you,
- For you are the immediate Brahman, the supreme.
- I shall call thee alone, the immediate Brahman.
- I shall also call thee ritam and satyam, the law and the reality.
- Let them protect me, let them protect that acharya, the teacher.
- Aum shanti, shanti, shanti.
