Below is a list of all original Darshan Diaries in chronological order. The "notes & extras" column relates to material from published Darshan Diaries which is not included in the CD-ROM: interviews, long "guest editorials", plus notes about anomalies, etc. Many of the earliest Darshan Diaries have unsigned introductions. It is is not known but likely that these are all or mostly written by Ma Prem Maneesha, the chief editor of the series.
Of Osho's stupendous output of almost five hundred books of unique, original words commenting on every aspect of spiritual and material life, a few were compilations of letters, but most were transcriptions of his taped public talks. A distinct sub-class of those public talks were those given in a special, semi-public context, darshan, and some 63 "Darshan Diaries" were created to chronicle those occasions.

Darshan was the time in the early evening in Pune One when visitors and disciples could come close to Osho and ask questions or pay their respects or take sannyas, in a setting far more intimate than the morning discourses. The main event grew quickly to be Osho's words to his new sannyasins but lots more happened too. See Darshan for a comprehensive look at this major phenomenon of sannyas.

:Below is a list of all original Darshan Diaries in chronological order. The "notes & extras" column relates to material from published Darshan Diaries which is not included in the CD-ROM: interviews, long "guest editorials", plus notes about anomalies, etc.
:Many of the earliest Darshan Diaries have unsigned introductions. It is is not known but likely that these are all or mostly written by Ma Prem Maneesha, the chief editor of the series.
:Some sixteen Darshan Diaries were not published in hard copy, only in the CD-ROM, and in some cases, information such as dates and names were lost. These cases are marked with **, linking to special pages which attempt to reconstruct the missing info.
: Column * no. is the number as counted for all known darshan diaries and their dates.
: Column ** no. is the number as mentioned in the book itself.

Latest revision as of 12:24, 17 February 2024

List in chronological order

Below is a list of all original Darshan Diaries in chronological order. The "notes & extras" column relates to material from published Darshan Diaries which is not included in the CD-ROM: interviews, long "guest editorials", plus notes about anomalies, etc.
Many of the earliest Darshan Diaries have unsigned introductions. It is is not known but likely that these are all or mostly written by Ma Prem Maneesha, the chief editor of the series.
Some sixteen Darshan Diaries were not published in hard copy, only in the CD-ROM, and in some cases, information such as dates and names were lost. These cases are marked with **, linking to special pages which attempt to reconstruct the missing info.
Column * no. is the number as counted for all known darshan diaries and their dates.
Column ** no. is the number as mentioned in the book itself.
* no. ** no. dates title notes & extras
