Comparison -- i know, don't compare! -- between the cover images of this vol and Vol 5 shows that the covers both fit into a kind of format but were fairly free to have differences as well, beyond just changing the numbers. But beyond that, it may be that neither of these images is completely intact. That of Vol 6 is sort of frayed at the bottom, and Vol 5's image may be missing its top. Oh well.

The other concern here may be that marrying these covers with the phantom Rajneesh Foundation editions may be a stretch, as a stylized Devanagari Osho (ओशो, here done as ओ शो), appears on both covers and it seems unlikely that Rajneesh Foundation would not have disappeared and been replaced when Osho changed his name. Rebel was already around, so that would have been easy. -- Sarlo (talk) 22:27, 28 March 2014 (PDT)

Discussion above is about this image on the right and the appropriateness of connecting it with any Rajneesh Foundation edition of this book. Not possible, really. And now that Shailendra has sent scans of the cover and info pages, we finally get an idea of what the real RF editions were like of these enormous tomes. And with Bhag 6, the last of the set, published in 1979, it is highly likely that pub dates exist for all the others and they will be even earlier.

This image and its companion for Bhag 5 still belong somewhere, likely editions put out in late 1989 at the earliest, so let's keep 'em around, and here in the talk pages is as easy a place to find them as any.

A nice touch in the subtitle of this other cover btw: "Dhammapada -- the gift / offering / instruction of Bhagwan Buddha".-- doofus-9 06:45, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
