- The most specific reference suggests the manuscript is part of Meet Mulla Nasruddin, one of the early joke books.
- But the thing is: none of the two jokes are part of that book. Which suggests that the more general tag "MULLA NASRUDDIN" applies.
- In fact, we were not able to find the left joke anywhere in the published texts.
- The right joke is also not found in any of the joke-books, but is told by Osho, almost literally, in A Sudden Clash of Thunder, ch.3.
