notes
An interview with Acharya Rajneesh by a French seeker, Dr. (Miss) C. Guinebert, Paris (France) on 16-8-1970, at Bombay. (Source: Flight of the Alone to the Alone.)
On the CD-ROM, this discourse was published as Early Talks ch.11 - no time or place, title= Man & Man.
The CD-ROM then says: "This discourse is published as Part 3, Chapter 2 of The Mind of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh." Editor: This is not correct, this text has not been found in that book. It is however the text of Flight of the Alone to the Alone ch.1.
synopsis
Reader of the questions: unknown.
Question 1
Acharyaji, will you please explain to me what do you mean by yoga, yogi and meditation?
Question 2
What is yoga and who is a yogi?
Question 3
You cannot talk in terms of oneness when there is no two. Is it the mind that creates duality?
Question 4
At the expense of all those 1500 people who come to me?
Question 5
Do you think it is necessary to have any particular rhythm or vibration while breathing? Will it harm medically those persons who are delicate and having heart trouble etc?
Question 6
How should we do it? In which body posture?
Question 7
Can you tell us why, in this so-called normal worldly stage we cannot feel the same experience of nonidentification?
Question 8
Excuse me, when we are doing the first, second and third, how can we do it without the slightest identification? How can we make any movement without it?
Question 9
Can we understand clearly that in the fourth stage there is only consciousness which has no memory left at that time? What type of stage will it be?
Question 10
What records it?
Question 11
It means memory is working in the interval also.
Question 12
So. Actually at the end of the third stage and the culmination of the fourth stage, there is dissolution of the ego... or what is the particular stage?
Question 13
What is the process by which the ego comes back to the original state?
Question 14
After this, does one live in the body?
Question 15
But there is the body?
Question 16
But there is still an individual body?
Question 17
So, in the fifth stage there is the explosion of individual awareness, or what you call it?
Question 18
In this explosion, is one aware of it?
Question 19
What is the mission of life?
Question 20
Not for an individual. In general, when we are living in this world and have to do so many things we have to undergo many changes sometimes we are doing yoga, sometimes this type of discipline, sometimes that type of method. What is the purpose? Can anyone solve this mystery? Ultimately, why are we doing all these things?
Question 21
But people are afraid to come to this state because they know it will disturb the pattern of society.
Question 22
Should this experiment go to the peak?
