प्यारी सोहन,<br>
प्रेम। तेरा पत्र ! और तेरे शब्द ! मैं उनपर मोहित होजाता हूँ। इधर बहुत व्यस्त था, इसलिए नहीं लिख सका। फिर भी रात्रि सोते समय हृदय से तो जो तुझसे कहना होता है, वह कह ही देता हूँ। क्या तू नहीं सुनती है ? मैं जानता हूँ कि तू सुनती होगी और रोती होगी। तेरे जैसे निर्दोष आंसू और किसके पास हैं ?
माणिक बाबू को प्रेम। बच्चों को आशीष।
संभवतः जल्दी ही यशा विदेश जारही है। चाहता था कि उसे छोड़ने आऊँ। लेकिन नहीं आसकूंगा। तू तो जायेगी ही। न भी जाती हो तो मेरी ओर से चली जाना और विदा में मेरी ओर से उसका माथा चूमकर विदाई दे देना।
