Letter written on 6 Mar 1962

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written on 6 Mar 1962. On this date in afternoon Osho also wrote letter to her husband.

This letter has been published in Krantibeej (क्रांतिबीज) as letter 62 (edited and trimmed text) and later in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) on p 102 (2002 Diamond edition).

The PS reads: "Received the letters. Colleges will get closed on 30 April. Annual Function of Bal Madir may be kept after that. In the Booklet for Distribution should publish: the Bal Mandir's history of progress and future plan. Before that, messages of greetings should be called from the prominent leaders and thinkers of the country along with those from other organizers of Bal Mandirs - those can be published in the Booklet. Whenever required I will send my message. Else you can use the message sent earlier by me. Rest, OK. Convey my humble pranam to all."

रजनीश ११५, नेपियर टाउन जबलपुर (म.प्र.) प्रिय मां, दोपहर की शांति। उजली धूप और पौधे सोये सोये से। एक जामुन की छाया तले दूब पर आ बैठा हूँ। रह रह कर पत्ते ऊपर गिर रहे हैं : अंतिम पुराने पत्ते मालुम होते हैं। सारे वृक्षों पर नयी पत्तियां आ गई हैं। और नयी पत्तियों के साथ न मालुम कितनी नई चिडियों और पक्षियों का आगमन हुआ है। उनके गीतों का जैसे कोई अंत ही नहीं है। कितने प्रकार की मधुर ध्वनियां इस दोपहर को संगीत दे रही हैं : सुनता हूँ और सुनता रहता हूँ और फिर मैं भी एक अभिनव संगीत-लोक में चला जाता हूँ। स्व का लोक, संगीत का लोक ही है। यह संगीत प्रत्येक के पास है। इसे पैदा नहीं करना होता है। केवल वह सुन पड़े इसके लिए केवल मौन होना होता है। चुप होते ही कैसा एक पर्दा उठ जाता है। जो सदा से था; वह दीख पड़ता है। जो सदा से था; वह सुन पड़ता है। और पहली बार ज्ञात होता है कि हम दरिद्र नहीं हैं : एक अनंत संपत्ति का पुनराधिकार मिल जाता है। फिर कितनी हंसी आती है – जिसे खोजते थे वह भीतर ही बैठा था! रजनीश के प्रणाम ६ मार्च १९६२ (पुनश्च: पत्र मिले हैं। कॉलेज ३० अप्रेल को बंद होंगे। बाल मंदिर वार्शिकोत्सव उसके बाद ही रखें। विवरण पत्रिका में बाल मंदिर का विकास-इतिहास और भावि योजना प्रकाशित होनी चाहिए। उसके पूर्व राष्ट्र के प्रमुख नेताओं और विचारकों तथा अन्य बाल मंदिरों के निर्माताओं के शुभ-संदेश बुला लेने चाहिए जिन्हें विवरण पत्रिका में प्रकाशित किया जासके। मेरा संदेश जब चाहें मैं भेज दूँगा या मैं पहले जो संदेश भेजा था उसका ही उपयोग करलें। शेष शुभ। सबको मेरे विनम्र प्रणाम कहें।)
