Letter written on 6 Mar 1962 om

This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It is addressed to Mr Parakh ji, her husband. It was written on 6 Mar 1962 in afternoon. On this date (no exact time mentioned) Osho also wrote the letter to her.

This letter has been published, in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) on p 101 (2002 Diamond edition).

रजनीश ११५, नेपियर टाउन जबलपुर (म.प्र.) प्रिय पारख जी, प्रणाम! कृपा-पत्र मिला है। उसकी लम्बाई से बहुत प्रसन्नता हुई है! मैं जानकर ही पुस्तिका नहीं भेजा था और जो कारण आपने अनुमान किया वह शत प्रतिशत ठीक है! जाग्रत जो है उन्हें क्या भेजूँ यह सोचकर ही नहीं भेजा हूँ! मेरे आने के लिए पूछा है : ३० अप्रेल के पूर्व तो आने में असमर्थ हूँ। उसके बाद ही कॉलेज बंद होंगे। मां बाल मंदिर वार्षिकोत्सव रखती हैं तो उसको ध्यान में रखकर आउँगा। अन्यथा मई के पहले सप्ताह में कोई तारीख निश्चित कर लूँगा। दवा के अस्थायी प्रभाव के सम्बंध में लिखा है सो ध्यान रखें कि समझदार डाक्टर अस्थायी प्रभाव वाली दवा ही देते हैं अन्यथा उनकी आवश्यकता ही फिर क्या रह जावेगी? शेष शुभ है। सबको – श्री अकलवार जी, यशोदा जी और अन्य को मेरे विनम्र प्रणाम कहें। रजनीश के प्रणाम दोपहर ६ मार्च १९६२

Partial translation

"You have asked about my coming (there) – I am unable to come before 30th April. After that only, the colleges would get closed. If the annual function is organized by Ma then I will come (accordingly); keeping that in mind. Otherwise I will decide some date in first week of May."
