This is one of hundreds of letters Osho wrote to Ma Anandmayee, then known as Madan Kunwar Parakh. It was written on 9th November 1962.
The letterhead reads (in Devanagari):
- Acharya Rajneesh [in a large, messy font to the right of and above the rest below]
- Darshan Vibhag [Department of Philosophy]
- Mahakoshal Kala Mahavidyalaya [Mahakoshal Arts University]
- 115, Napier Town
- Jabalpur (M.P.)
Osho's salutation in this letter is a fairly typical "प्रिय मां", Priya Maan, Dear Mom. There are a couple of the hand-written marks that have been observed in other letters: a black tick mark in the upper right corner and a mirror-image number in the bottom right corner. There are actually two numbers there, one crossed out (145) and replaced by a pink number, 147.
The letter has been published, in Bhavna Ke Bhojpatron Par Osho (भावना के भोजपत्रों पर ओशो) (2002 Diamond edition, p 172). We are awaiting a transcription and translation.
