This volume is part of the nine-volume first edition of Ashtavakra: Mahageeta (अष्‍टावक्र : महागीता) (series), each volume having ten discourses except the last, which has eleven. Later, a new six-volume set was done, with each volume having fifteen discourses (and the last sixteen). Note that each of the later six volumes has a same-name counterpart in the first six of the nine-volume set, with which it should not be confused.
