"NO," said Nasrudin. "AND THE TRAP DOESN'T RUN AFTER THE MOUSE, BUT IT CATCHES IT JUST THE SAME."

Judging by a letterhead this joke was written appr. in 1971.
We were not able to find the joke anywhere in the published texts. We have designated that writing as event Mulla Nasruddin ~ 02.
