Anubhava took sannyas in 1976 in Pune. He worked in the Vipassana go-down and the mala shop and in the evenings he led the Music Group for three years. He has said about his phenomenal output of music at that time, "These songs came out of the context, the commune, the Master, the spirit of the Buddhafield, and I was just lucky to be there and let them come through!"

"All through the years of Poona One, every morning there was Sufi Dance and every evening there was Music Group in Buddha Hall. Osho’s lovers in their hundreds joined to celebrate the holy spark within themselves and honor it in others with both sacred songs and chants and dances from the world’s traditions and also with new words and specially written music. Sufi Dance and Music Group were the provinces of Aneeta and Anubhava. What they did and how they did it were, for me, the manifested essence of our Master’s joyous teaching." (Sw Rashid, 2004)
