(Alan Bassett)

Premesh is a historian, therapist, novelist, and world traveler. He earned his Masters Degree at Florida State University and continued his postgraduate studies in psychology at Antioch University-Seattle and the Osho Multiversity in Pune, India. The Ashoka Chronicles Trilogy was inspired by the author’s ten years in India, his meditations with Osho, and his travels through India, Sri Lanka, and Southeast Asia. While he was writing The Buddha Conspiracy, he lived through the tsunami in Thailand in 2004 and Hurricane Katrina in 2005. 'When you write apocalyptic novels, you have to be careful about what experiences you attract.' For the past two decades, he has been leading transpersonal therapy and meditation groups in Europe, India, Brazil, and the United States. He presently lives in Spain with his partner Meerananda, where he devotes much of his time to writing novels and short stories.
