To whom it may concern

I have been teaching linguistics at the Germanistisches Institut (Institute for German Studies) at the University of Munster since 1974. I received my PhD in 1978 and was tenured in 1981. I have published two books on linguistics and contributed many articles to journals and books. My main field of research is speechact theory and theory of communication. Since 1981 I am a disciple of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh.

Ever since my first visit to Poona in 1979 the teachings and the presence of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh have been a constant source of inspiration to me. His vision and his guidance have not only affected my personal development, they also had many effects on my academic and scholary life. Especially my approach to teaching has benefitted a great deal from Bhagwan’s lectures on education and from the experiences I made in groups deviced by the Rajneesh Foundation.

As I see it, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh is not only an inspiring religious leader, as which he is known all over the world, his work is also a rich source of impulses that have already proved to be of great importance for psychological, philosophical and educational studies. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh has published more than 3oo books. There are many translations of his books into all major languages. The impact of his work will be influential in many fields of humanities. More than his books, however, his personal presence sets free a creative energy and creates an atmosphere where the quest for truth can be successfull.
