This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch.  Ma Shanti Anatta To Whom It May Concern I am a nurse by profession and 27 years of age. I came into contact with Bhagwan through books, friends, therapy groups and seeing him personally. My attitude to my work has changed greatly since I met Bhagwan. Earlier I concentrated my efforts on doing my work efficiently, looking after my patients well, and after 8 hours I was happy to get away from my place of work. It was an eight-hour obligation that I had to fulfill, and I did fulfill it. Now, I see my patients in a very different light. Instead of just bringing them their tablets regularly, I also try to reach out to their hearts. I see now what Bhagwan means when he says: "ONly love heals". I see now that each human body carries a heart, an individual and hence his body is to be treated as something sacred: as a "temple of God" (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh). I feel a very real concern for my patients -it is not a concern born out of pity for their illness, it is a concern for their lives, respect for each of them as individuals. In the present age, where Medicine is breaking all limits, constantly exploring and discovering the new, I think it is very important not to lose feeling, not to forget that the human being is more important than his illness. And here, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh has gigantic contributions to make. If one treats sick people with the "holistic" approach of Bhagwan ("holy", says Bhagwan, comes form "Whole", meaning, a human being is a whole - not a composition of heart, liver and kidney, but an individual with a heart and with consciousness), then human beings can be made really healthy, so that they are no more dependant on Medicine, they only use it to make themselves feel healthier and better. I feel that the world needs Bhagwan very much today and his work in all fields, including that of healing and Medicine, has reached its very flowering in Rajneeshpuram in Oregon.
