Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

My name is Patricia Kaye Stone, born 1938 in Perth, Western Australia, and parent of three daughters born 1962, 1969 and 1973. I am a qualified beauty and skin therapist with a Diploma from The International Therapy Examination Council, London, England. I conduct my clinic from my own premises, and enjoy a good standing in the community. I am also married to a Perth dental practicioner with his own specialist practice in Perth. My husband and I, and family, have resided in the same residence for the past 16 years in Perth.

I first became aware of the teachings of Bhagwan Rajneesh some 2 years ago and since that time have progressively become interested in his writings and teachings. My husband and I are frequent visitors to the library of the Fremantle branch of the movement and use their books and tapes on a regular basis. I am very happy to share these teachings with our daughters and they have responded very positively to the warmth and sincerety exercised by this group of people. I consider Bhagwan Rajneesh is teaching a non-violence, love and caring orientated philosophy, in an age and society that is very much in need of a goal for their youth.

I have found that I have developed a broader understanding of people and problems and their needs since becoming aware of the philosophies of Bhagwan Rajneesh and have found this greater understanding of much use in the running of my clinic.

I sincerely believe Bhagwan Rajneesh and his followers are implementing and participa(?) in a wonderful and sincere effort in setting an example of what can be achieved on the basis of caring for each other and the community as a whole, and the emphasis on non-violence, peaceful living and sharing, can only lead to a much better understanding and peaceful living amongst peoples of different backgrounds.

I can only wish Bhagwan Rajneesh and his followers every wish for their future and successful acceptance for permanent residence in the U.S.A. The concept of Rajneeshpuram can be a wonderful example of a community living in peace and loving sharing.

Yours truly

P.K. Stone
