 21 July 1983 To Whom It May Concern: I am a methematician who has spent the last twenty-three years writing computer software for the aerospace industry. I took my degree at the Courant Institute at New York University. I have been a member of both the American Mathematical Society and the Mathematical Association of America for many years. I am expecially concerned about the quality of research and education in the mathematical and computer sciences in this country. I have noticed a decided tendency towards sterility in both research and education. Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh has devised many practical techniques for unleashing the full potential of the human mind. It is an established fact that only about ten percent of the potential power of the mind is used. I have personally observed a significant increase in both intelligence and creativity among persons who have applied the techniques of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. [signed] |
