Taking Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh as a model, this documentary explores the guru's function in Hinduism. Interviews with devotees, lectures by Bhagwan, as well as demonstrations of intense spiritual expressions like dancing and whirling in contrast to silent meditation are all included in this video.
The ending comment of the director and narrator David M. Knipe about Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh is: „Though this be madness there is nothing in it.“
According to Wikipedia and other sources like german Wikibrief this video is thought to be the first documentary film about Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. It is made by David M. Knipe as Program 13 of “Exploring the Religions of South Asia” for the University Of Wisconsin, Medison, Wisconsin, USA.
