Punglia ji lived in Pune and helped in Marathi publications. He took sannyas not once but twice, the first time at Mt Abu in 1971 as a [["Sadhu" and "Sadhvi"|sadhu]], getting the name Sadhu Amrita Bodhidharma, then in Pune in 1976, updating to Sw Amrit Bodhidharma. For all that, Osho continued to use his old name Punglia.
