- Osho's first publication as a full-size book, containing transcripts of talks from his first meditation camp, in Ranakpur, Rajasthan, in June 1964. It is the first time his discourses and meditations are recorded and published in a book. Osho says later that this book contains his whole teachings, which have never altered.
- notes
- Translated into English as Path of Self Realization. Also see the discussion there.
- Sadhana Path's publishing history is a complicated one. It has appeared in at least three forms just in Hindi:
- 1. As itself, the original book with just the discourses from Ranakpur
- 2. As a compilation of two books, the original and Path Ki Khoj (पथ की खोज)
- 3. As a compilation of three books, the original, Antar Yatra (अंतर यात्रा) and Prabhu Ki Pagdandiyan (प्रभु की पगडंडियां).
- See discussion for details about all this.
- time period of Osho's original talks/writings
- Jun 3, 1964 to Jun 8, 1964 : timeline
- number of discourses/chapters
