- स्वतंत्रता विद्रोह नहीं है, क्रांति है।
- क्रांति की बात ही अलग है। क्रांति का अर्थ है: दूसरे से कोई प्रयोजन नहीं है। हम किसी के विरोध में स्वतंत्र नहीं हो रहे हैं। क्योंकि विरोध में हम स्वतंत्र होंगे, तो वह स्वच्छंदता हो जाएगी। हम दूसरे से मुक्त हो रहे हैं--न उससे हमें विरोध है, न हमें उसका अनुगमन है। न हम उसके शत्रु हैं, न हम उसके मित्र हैं--हम उससे मुक्त हो रहे हैं। और यह मुक्ति, ‘पर’ से मुक्ति, जिस ऊर्जा को जन्म देती है, जिस डाइमेन्शन को, जिस दिशा को खोल देती है, उसका नाम स्वतंत्रता है।
