Letter to an Unknown Addressee in Maharashtra

This letter has been offered by Osho's brother Shailendra, who has kindly transcribed and translated it, text below. The Somnath referred to in the letter is believed to be the major Shiva devotee pilgrimage site in far coastal Gujarat. See discussion for more on that.

आचार्य रजनीश कमला नेहरू नगर, जबलपुर (म.प्र.) फोन : 2957 मेरे प्रिय। प्रेम। तुम्हारा पत्र पाकर आनंदित हूं। श्री बाबा आमटे और श्री दामोदर ठोले के आमंत्रण भी मिले हैं। मैं भी सोमनाथ आना चाहता हूं। एक ही कठिनाई है कि उन्हीं तिथियों में मैं पूर्व से इंदौर, भोपाल, बम्बई, अहमदाबाद आदि के कार्यक्रम हाथ में ले लिया हूं। फिर भी उनमें परिवर्तन की कोशिश करूंगा और यदि संभव हो सका तो सोमनाथ जरूर आ जाऊंगा। तुम माथेरान आ सको तो अच्छा है। शेष शुभ। वहां सबको प्रणाम। ‘अज्ञात की ओर’ का मराठी रूपांतर जैसे ही तैयार हो जावे उसे मेरे पास भेज दो। रजनीश के प्रणाम। 18/3/1969 acharya rajneesh kamala nehru nagar : jabalapur (m.p.). phone : 2957 [addressee not named] My Beloved, Love. I am glad to receive your letter. I have received invitations from Shree Baba Aamate and Shree Damodar Thole also. I do want to come to Somnath. But the only problem is--in the same dates I have accepted programmes at Indore, Bhopal, Bombay, Ahmedabad etc. Still, I will try to change the programmes and if possible, I will definitely come to Somnath. It will be good if you can come to Matheran. Rest is fine. Convey my regards to everyone there. As soon as the Marathi translation of "Agyat Ki Or" gets ready, send it to me.
