Ma Amrit Priya

Priya was born on 8th May, 1958 into a spiritually-oriented family in Jabalpur (MP) India. At the early age of 15, she joined Osho's Neo-Sannyas movement in 1973. She did her M.A. in Philosophy and Prabhakar Degree in Music in 1979. In that same year she also married Shailendra, a younger brother of Osho. She lived in the Osho Communes at Pune 1979-81, and at Rajneeshpuram, Oregon, USA 1982-1985, later working as a music teacher in Birla's OPM School, Amlai (MP) from 1990 to 1999.

She is an accomplished singer and composer; more than 60 of her albums of Bhajans have become popular among seekers of all stripes, with seven of them on All India Radio's playlist. She was privileged to sing some of her songs in the presence of Osho and has sung about 2000 "Sant-Vani" on Aastha TV channel.

Her TV discourses regarding Osho's vision are compiled as books. Now widely known as Ma Osho Priya, she conducts meditation classes and Osho Sandhya (White Robe Brotherhood) every evening in the Oshodhara Ashram at Murthal.
