Ma Anand Madhu

Madhu is among the fabled first group of people to officially take sannyas from Osho in Manali in 1970. For years before that, she was the principal of Sanskarteerth School in Ajol (GJ) and hosted Osho repeatedly for camps there.

Osho talked about Anand Madhu, and many letters written to her. She was the niece of Morar Ji Bhai Desai, who became a prime minister, and he was very angry about her initiation.

She left her body on May 18, 2021.
