- notes
- A compilation of Osho's words from talks given around India on Mahaveer, the 24th and last teerthankara of Jainism. This is the religion Osho was born into, and Mahaveer is their main man. The title means roughly, "Mahaveer: an Introduction to the Man and His Words". Actual previously published sources of the material in the book are not known but may go back as far as 1955 to Osho's first published discourse, on the Jain saint Taran (often written Taran Taran). As far as is known, the 1974 edition was the only one, and it is long out of print. There is an e-book version of it online. Most of it has never been translated. See discussion for more on all of this.
