- notes
- A compilation of Osho's words from talks given around India on Mahaveer, the 24th and last teerthankara of Jainism. This is the religion Osho was born into, and Mahaveer is their main man. The title means roughly, "Mahaveer: an Introduction to the Man and His Words". As far as is known, the 1974 edition was the only one, and it is long out of print. Most of it has never been translated. See discussion for more on all of this.
- The book compiled from edited parts of Mahaveer: Meri Drishti Mein (महावीर : मेरी दृष्टि में), Jyon Ki Tyon Dhari Dinhi Chadariya (ज्यों की त्यों धरि दीन्हीं चदरिया) (5 ch. format), Mahaveer-Vani, Bhag 1 (महावीर-वाणी, भाग 1).
- time period of Osho's original talks/writings
- Sep 17, 1969 to Sep 4, 1971 : timeline
- number of discourses/chapters
- 30 (see table of contents)
