जन्म जीवन नहीं है; जन्म केवल संभावना है। जीवन मिल भी सकता है, खो भी सकता है। जन्म दोनों के लिए द्वार बन सकता है--जीवन पाने के लिए भी, जीवन खोने के लिए भी। जन्म अपने में सिर्फ संभावना, पॉसिबिलिटी है। जन्म कुछ भी नहीं है, सिर्फ एक अवसर, एक ऑपरच्युनिटी है।

The title derives from a saying of Guru Nanak Dev, founder of the Sikh religion, meaning roughly, "All in this world are unhappy" (except those who have established a life in the beyond).

It's chapters 1, 2, 4, 5 and 7 have been published in book form as part of Dukh Ke Paar (दुख के पार) (ch. 2, 4, 5, 6 and 1 respectively).

There is a Punjabi translation: Nanak Dukhiya Sabhu Sansaru (ਨਾਨਕ ਦੁਖੀਆ ਸਭੁ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ).
