Yatri is an English visual artist and writer born in the UK in 1936. He has worked in many fields, starting off in kinetic and constructionist art exhibiting in many galleries, as well as at the British Pavilion at Expo 67 in Montreal.  
:Yatri, born in the UK 1936, trained as an architect and painter and taught in both fields. He was also a fellow in Visual Communications at the Portsmouth School of Architecture and lectured at various architectural schools in London.
:He was commissioned to create a kinetic work at the British Pavilion at Expo 67, Montreal.
:His artworks appeared in the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Walker Arts Center, Minneapolis, the Tate Gallery, London, the Glasgow Art Gallery, Scotland, the Foundation Maeght, France  and the Kunsthalle, Cologne.


He lived in Pune One for seven years and was involved in book design for much of that time, including compiling [[The Sound of Running Water]]. His cartooning skills flowered during this time as well; some thirty of his cartoons were published in the [[Rajneesh Foundation Newsletter]]. (Link to cartoons below)
:In 1974 he went to the ashram in Poona and became a Sannyasin.
:In 1975 Osho put him in charge of the design department, publishing Osho’s books until late 1979.
:During that time he created, under Osho’s direction, ''[[The Sound of Running Water]]''.
:In the ''[[Rajneesh Foundation Newsletter (Newspaper)|Rajneesh Foundation Newsletter]]'' his cartoons of the relationship between Master and Disciple regularly appeared. (see link below)

:Later on he joined the pipe crew, and helped restore the damaged waterways of the Ranch.
:He left his body  Feb 20, 2024.


In 1986, he and his designer wife Magda(lena) founded Labyrinth Publishing in Italy, designing and illustrating books for Stephen Hawking, among others, and publishing four original books (biblio below). In 1996, they founded Moonrunner Design, doing illustrations for Richard Dawkins, National Geographic, Scientific American, Discover, Kijk ,Welt der Wunder, The New York Times, and Mother Jones, among others.
