:I have added the complete translation, as per my understanding and my capacity to translate in English. I have bolded the word as in the original. Anway, it is a great advice to someone getting married, huh. Is it an unpublished Hindi letter? (Only published in Gujarati transliteration!) I have not gone through all published letters of Osho. I have found no match so far. Is it a letter to Ajit Kumar Jain? or Some other Ajit? It is great joy to read English translation. Thank you! | |||
But for research purpose can you please translation '''into Hindi''' first two lines of the letter? I expect the original language of letter is Hindi, so it is worth to search Hindi.--DhyanAntar 03:40, 8 February 2022 (UTC) |

Note
It might be compilation. The available first page shows multiple paragraphs taken from Sambhog Se Samadhi Ki Or (संभोग से समाधि की ओर) ch. 8 Prem Aur Vivah (प्रेम और विवाह). Full copy needed to identify sources. -Nizil (talk) 15:44, 4 February 2022 (UTC)
What does <!---...---> mean? I see that categories placed in it do not go to categories.--DhyanAntar 03:14, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- Hidden comment/other info.. like tags. I am yet to decide and add categories so hide that from display. It can be used to hide anything. It is for me only. I use this often in draft/underconstruction pages.-Nizil (talk) 08:07, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks. It looks useful sometimes.--DhyanAntar 12:47, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
Please if TOC of the book is unclear or we have incomplete info on it: do not fill TOC section. It is not nice to state known info and ignore unknown info: you didn't mentione ch.1 with talk(s), which are uncertain for now.
Nizil, can you translate into Hindi couple of first sentences of letter 2? I would like to check the text.--DhyanAntar 15:42, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
You can put temporary-research info here, in talk page, in table format. And later when it is ready then to add TOC on main page.--DhyanAntar 16:44, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
- I need full copy to identify sources of ch. 1 so until then I think adding TOC of letters is OK. But I will place my research on talkpages first before moving them to Page. Sorry.-Nizil (talk) 19:34, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
Translation of Letter 2
- Title: લગ્ન પ્રસંગે (On occasion of marriage)
- With Love to Ajit Santosh
- A marriage is not a joy in itself. Who believes it is a joy in itself, falls in unhappiness.
- A marriage is just a possibility.
- It can be unhappy as well.
- And can be the highest joy.
- The marriage is a seed. Who believes it a tree, falls in unhappiness.
- The marriage is not an end, it is a beginning.
- It is a struggle also, and a sādhana (spiritual exercise) too.
- It is not a dream for sure.
- By self-realisation, by hard work, by determination, by knowledge and love, by staying aware constantly to keep the other person free; one can avail the fruits of joy in the marriage.
- Joy is not received, [you] have to get it.
- It is my wish that the joy gives capacity to self-construction [you].
- It is my prayer that you make great life.
- pranam (greeting) from Rajneesh.
- I have added the complete translation, as per my understanding and my capacity to translate in English. From this article, I know that he married and met Osho with a marriage party.
