Some questions might arise about Theresa's names, but a look at her original handwritten letter settles all that we need be concerned about. Both her sigs and her hand-printed names indicate that her legal name is Theresia and her sannyas name Theresa. While this may be unusual, it is not our concern. We have rendered her sannyas name as "Ma Satyam Theresia" in the transcription of the translation in order to faithfully reproduce the translation.
