This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch.  CENTRALE VERWARMING To whom it may concern , Since my youth , I always have loved America , and several times already I stayed on vacation in your country . So , I was extremely astonished that Bhagwan Shree Rasjneesh should not be alowed to stay in the U.S.A. . He became my religious master since 4 hears and my love and respect for him increases more en more . His books are a continious source for me , and lots of friends begin too to appreciate him as an outstanding man in this time , after their contact with him trough me . We all can’t imagine that your attitude towards this man should be negative . Says the ” Library Journal ” ( USA ) in april 1982b: ” Bhagwan’s position as an important mystic and philosophe is supported by an international following and a host of publication . His work is that of all great religious leaders : bringing God to men . ” May I ask you to consider this case 100 % and to accept Him as a religious teacher as America did several times in the past .
