Information about their collection of these letters and other supporting material -- the "Jeffrey Noles Rajneesh Collection", named for Osho's immigration lawyer Jeffrey Noles, who compiled them in 1983 and donated them to the OHS -- can be found at this page. The wiki is grateful to the OHS for making access available for these documents. For more information and links to all the letters, see Testimonial letters.

The text version below has been created by optical character recognition (OCR), from the images supplied by OHS. It has not been checked for errors but this process usually results in over 99% correct transcription. Most apparent "errors" are correct transcriptions of typos already in the original. The image on the right in the text box links to a pdf file of the original letter, it has one page.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Through my work in a book store I came across the books of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh about two years ago. I had always been very interested in reading about psychology, pedagogics and religion. What was fascinating and new for me in Bhagwan’s books was the clarity, intelligence and simplicity with which he presented things. I had never before felt someone speaking through many books with so much real understanding. At the same time Bhagwan’s books are outstanding for their humor and the beauty of his language.

The approach of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh is not to analyse problems, but to create through his openness a connection with his sannyasins and to encourage them again and again to take ’responsibility’ for their own lives.

I have been a sannyasin for a year now and live and work with other sannyasins in an ashram in Germany. Bhagwan has helped us to discover and free much hidden energy and creativity inside ourselves and this has greatly enriched our lives. We have learned to live and deal with each other in an open, honest and loving way.

The last few weeks I have been visiting Rajneeshpuram and I am amazed at the outstanding ways of life available for many people here. In Bhagwan's presence a previously uninhabitable piece of land has been joyously transformed in a very short space of time. This is only possible because Bhagwan has shown us over and over again the potential and capabilities that are hidden inside us. He has further made it possible for us to live our lives positively and find fulfillment.

During the festival I experienced that Bhagwan is do deeply connected with his sannyasins that we no longer need words in order to understand him and be in communication with him.
