This letter is one of a remarkable series of over 2650 letters amassed in 1983 to support Osho's attempt to get permanent resident status in the US at the time of the Oregon ranch.  Vienna, 1.August 1983 To whom it may concern! My name is Ma Anand Deepa, I am 26 years old and a social worker. Since 2 years I am a disciple of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, my beloved Master. Last year I saw Him the first time at the First Annual World Celebration. This year I visited again the City of Rajneeshpuram and stayed there for 8 days. It is just amazing to be a Disciple of a living Master, he gives me so much love. I felt such joy, so much love sitting at his feet during the seven mornings at Satsang-just being silent and feeling my heart opening. It is incredible what happened in these two years at Rajneeshpuram, a real city has been created and it was only possible because Bhagwan is there and spreads his love all over. Since he is living in America his health has become better and better and so it is very important that it is possible for him to stay there. Here in Vienna we are singing every morning before we start to worship and every evening after finishing our worship The 'Gachchhamis'. Even though we are so far away from Bhagwan we feel his presence wherever we are and we are in silent communion with him where we are doing the meditations or Satsang or just our work. It is such a gift to be with our beautiful Master and I hope deeply that it is possible for him to stay in America in the City of Rajneeshpuram. We all need this island of love, it is our home.
